Laura, membre à la 5ième unité de Castors de Juan de Fuca, située au Canada aimerait que leurs Castors, l'équivalent de nos Baladins puissent découvrir d’autres pays.

Comment ?

Un castor en peluche prénommé Bucky serait envoyé (dans une boite) à environ 5 autres groupes de Castors (Baladins) à travers le monde.

Cette boîte contiendrait des photos de Bucky avec les membres de leur section ainsi que certains de leurs écussons.

Chaque groupe rencontré pourrait ainsi échanger des écussons et y déposer quelques photos de Bucky et de la section.

Lorsque la boîte leur reviendrait (en espérant qu’elle leur parvienne avant leur grand camp du 50e anniversaire des Castors Beaveree, le 1er juin 2024), la section vous ferait parvenir par mail toutes les aventures qu’il aurait vécues tout au long de son voyage.

Actuellement, une section de Terre-Neuve au Canada, une autre aux Pays-Bas et en Écosse sont partantes pour ce projet ! Alors pourquoi pas vous ?

Hi Everyone! My name is Laura and I'm the contact Scouter for the 5th Juan de Fuca Beavers located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Our Scout group recently came home from attending the Haarlem Jamborette and we thought we would love to get our Beaver scouts ready and excited to potentially attend HJ 2027 by learning about other countries. We will send Bucky (a Beaver stuffy) around to approximately 5 other Beaver groups around the world in a box with pictures of him with our group and some of our group crests and each group he visits can take some crests and throw some pictures of Bucky on an adventure with your group and some of your group crests. When we get the box back (hopefully before our big 50th Anniversary of Beavers Beaveree camp on June 1, 2024), we can send out an email with a summary of what Bucky got to do and see and you can show your Beavers all his adventures from his year. So far, we have a group from Newfoundland, Canada (located 6,697km from us), the Netherlands, and Scotland confirmed and are hoping to find 1 group from each Iceland and Belgium to join us.
